The Technology

Animal farming by conventional technologies requires extensive agriculture crop areas for release of animal slurry as fertilizer. Modern technology now makes animal production without land feasible by reducing the inorganic nutrients to levels, qualifying the slurry for discharge into sewage treatment plants or directly into the ambient environment. The patented technology, recently launched by Aqua Cleantech (ACT), offers a unique solution within a very small footprint to remove the polluting nutrients and odorous compounds from liquid slurry.

The ACT technology

Is a patented biological treatment technology, consisting of a series of Moving Bed Bio-Reactors (MBBR) for reduction or elimination of nitrogen and phosphorous content in liquid manure, targeting customized composition of the liquid for crop fertilization or discharge into sewage treatment plants or directly into the recipient.
